The latest updates on my current work in progress coming in 2021!

My latest, and longest, book has finally entered the editing stage. Originally slated for release 2020, the cover remained a mystery to me for some time, until recently. The official release, along with the book title & cover art reveal will be announced a little later this year!

The Long And The Short

“I must give readers not the book they want, but the book they don't want.” - Antonio Lobo Antunes

I'm a writer. To date the majority of my work has been True Crime Fiction & Horror, mainly because they're my favorite genres, and also because they come naturally to me. If left to my own devices I can easily finish a horror novel in a short period of time, and most of the projects I have lined up for the next several years are Horror/Thriller related, with a few True Crime Fiction & Nonfiction titles in the works as well. But, as many Artist will likely relate to, sometimes their are projects that you want to do, and other times there are projects you feel like you have to do - this is one of the latter.

I struggle daily with societal issues, mainly as a result of my own doing. But there are certain topics that I cling to, and certain facets of these topics that have always concerned me. 'Book #6' was an attempt to put many of these issues out in the open for people to dissect, to discuss, to agree or disagree with. Religion, life and death, humanity - these are things I constantly meditate on, and as a result of my own curiosity and my uninhibited upbringing my thoughts and opinions regarding them still continue to evolve. For me, it helps to bring these things to light in an effort to discover my own truths. Sometimes I'm not even sure what I think until I've explored the topic openly.

The story itself begins with a brief mention of the 2016 presidential election, and indeed it began it's conception around this time. But politics are not the focal point of the story, more of a side note. With the exception of the basic concept of choosing sides and societal separation, it stems more from my problems with organized religion and the unusual way it can inadvertently lead to division.

The book revolves around a central character with several supporting characters which are encountered throughout a country wide journey in a Post-Apocalyptic United States, where everything is merely a ruined version of what it once was, torn apart by religious fanatics. Be sure to keep an eye out for updates on my progress - THE END IS NEAR!
